Consulting for both Parents and Practitioners

Our services are customized to meet the specific needs of each family or organization. We work collaboratively throughout the entire process to make sure your needs and goals for your child and your family are met.

Maybe you're stuck trying to figure out how to move forward with your child's school. Maybe you need a step by step guide for how to complete your application for developmental disability services, or how to save for your child's future. Maybe you just want to consult with another parent who has been down this road, and also a professional who understands all the bureaucracies. Reach out and we can discuss your options.

Maybe you have a group of practitioners that would benefit from a 1 hour webinar or discussion on how they might better partner with parents? Or maybe your practitioners have questions about what services are available to children with disabilities and how to talk about those services with parents in a way that will lead parents to (actual) resources? Services both at school and at home for disabled children in Oregon are really complex and as practitioners, knowing the basics and knowing where to refer parents could be hugely helpful in building rapport and success with their clients.

I can help you not only navigate these complex systems and processes but I can help you maximize the benefits for your child and your family's well being. I will provide you with concrete "to-dos" that will guide you in this overwhelming process of navigating and advocating for services.

Guidance

Are you lost and wondering how to navigate the world of raising a child with differences? Have you just received a diagnosis, and you're unsure next steps in how to support your child and your family's well being? Need a roadmap? Maybe you just want a thought partner who understands; someone to share spoons with, and bounce ideas off of!

Fees

We provide a free 20 minute phone consultation, and then a proposal for services will be written and an estimate of hours and contract for services provided. Hourly rate is $100/hour with a sliding scale available to those in need.
